Marking the beginning of new life and extending our village is a wonderful thing to celebrate. For many, arriving at parenthood can also be a long and tricky road. Whilst my hubby and I were brought up in religious backgrounds, we relished creating a non religious ceremony to welcome our three children into our nest. Giving the extended family an opportunity to celebrate, honoring some close figures to be their guide (god) parents and giving plenty of lashes of love and blessings to our babies.
